RA3 performance on older MBP's?

Been searching for some info, (and a demo - thanks EA) - anyone out there got any info on how it runs on older MBP's (CD's. not C2D's)? Mine has the X1600/2G Ram. Wonder how it plays (choppy during big battles?), graphics settings capability, # of AI opponents you can take on @ once, etc

Any detailed info GREATLY appreciated! I'd rather not have to DL a torrent to test it (buy it first to test and find out it runs like molasses like TW did? No thanks - fool me once...) and yes, I did run all updates/patches for TW - it's the port, not my comp (Zero Hour runs almost flawless on High, vs 6 AI's on a LARGE map), KW port was MUCH better...

You want to run it on Windows or Mac OS X ?

On OS X, you will have to play on Low settings only imo, unless the game is magically optimized for 128MB gfx cards which I highly doubt.

On windows, you may be able to turn a few settings higher without significant performance impact.
