I didn't see the episode, yet, but based solely on CNN's description and the included picture, this looks hysterical. Good for Parker and Stone for not being intimidated by these humorless bozos.

It was a pretty funny episode. But really, Parker and Stone aren't the ones who have suddenly grown a pair. They wanted to show Mohammed a long time ago, but were forbidden by Comedy Central.

Well I suppose South Park does go after everyone so this is OK.

That said these people aren't representative of Islam.

It's only a matter of time before Public Access Jesus has to field a telephone call from an upset Satan after he learns that his boyfriend, Saddam had an affair with the bear.

They actually did depict Mohammed in July of 2001 with no complaints from the network and no threats from extremists. It was only when they tried to do so again in response to the Danish Mohammed cartoon nonsense that Comedy Central suddenly decided that an inexplicably focused "respect for religion" was called for.

Right, and whose previous depiction and subsequent banning Stone and Parker also note in this episode.

At least somebody's watching South Park. I stopped almost a decade ago.

Yeah I know. Didn't they have an episode last year (or maybe a little farther back) where they had Muhammed blurred out because of CC?

I know, that's why I used the term "radical". Most Muslims I know don't have a problem with stuff like South Park because they know it's just shock humor.

I don't watch all that much either, but I love that these guys will joke around with just about anything. And more so when it comes to radicals!

( I loved the episode were Cartmen goes into the future and instead of people of different religions fighting, atheist groups are fighting over what their organizations name should be)

    "Blame Canada"

But I watch House occasionally. "House. Jail house!" - Peter Griffin.

    (Or was it Full House?)

SP is easily one of the most popular animated shows on television and has been this past decade while you've tuned out.

Anyone excited about new Futurama episodes? Gonna be on Comedy Central this summer.

Mohammed was already shown once in South Park in that one episode Stan mentions in the 200th episode.

Mohammed is the one on the right most. Muslims are over reacting.

And that is also what makes people being offended by South Park hilarious. Apparently they didn't get the memo, but they WANT you to be offended, that's what makes it funny.

I haven't had a chance to watch it yet, but I have it ready to go on the PVR.

I really hope that this Islamist group is investigated to determine if anything they posted on their website is deemed against the law. Oversensitive......

On another note, the creators of South Park are getting a Broadway musical about Mormons ready for March, 2011.:D It's going to be called "The Book of Mormon".

Do the Mormons have a jihad-equivalent?

Gotta love South Park, No one is safe from parody LOL

Off the top of my head here's the short list of what beliefs/cultures they insulted so far--I hope they keep it up:

    Muslims
    Jews
    Christians
    Scientology
    Asians
    Blacks
    Atheists
    Gays
    Asians
    Marklar
    Canadians
    Crab People
    Native Americans

Anyone care to add any I may have missed? I would be interested in figuring out who has been left out so far but I believe that list is tiny LOL
