i have this 512 mb pc133 ram thats a tad to tall for my 12' 900mhz G3 iBook. it really only hits this metal thing on the way down but it would fit if i get it past it. there is no way to move the metal thing with out taking the whole iBook apart. My question is, since the memory has a sticker that says IBOOK on it, is it made for the 14' iBook? Does the 14' have more clearnce room?

i got the memory from some guy on craigslist that said he took it out of his iBook. Im not sure what size or model though.

try again you have to push it in the slot and snap it down
its part of the outer shell/metal gaurd thats in the way. if i push it down it would snap the corner of my memory. maybe this chip wasnt made for the ibook and some one just put a sticker on it that says iBook???
