I guess I am not a "true hunter" because I live hundreds of miles away from the Ocean.
That is pretty neat though, different way to take care of an invasive species.

You can do all kinds of cool stuff with ta good gun!

Although you all certainly know that one, I still find it quite funny:

Too bad though, I thought there was a piece where he shoots the TV to switch channels..

Getting 6 inches behind something that's barely moving and pulling a trigger hardly qualifies as hunting IMO ;)

Does that require a hunting license or a fishing license? :)

he had some issues with the government but he was far enough out that it was not a issue. he could not do it close to the shore.

No, but those things are a predatory menace. Every one needs to die or we will not have reef fish in FL waters.

When I was a kid I'd pop red squirrels--a pest species--with an air gun and the crows would eat them. Crows are so intelligent as soon as I stepped outside they'd be cawing and gathering in anticipation of the feast.

I have watched crows learn to ski down snow covered roofs. birds can be quite creative in their lives.

Good question. Lion fish, as beatiful as they are little bastards. The video states they are invasive, not to mention venemous (not enough to kill a human but to be very painful with a big one). I believe some states put a bounty out on their head to kill/capture. I used to have one in my aquarium, they're cute--- so long as they have a nice set of appropriate set of playmates.

As for using a Glock to kill them, I'm not sure that's the most reasonable or practical way of killing them. Bullets typically don't usually travel too well in water, I can't imagine such a short muzzle would help.

I was mildly annoyed until they revealed at about 3:00 minutes in that they use copper-tin ammunition. An odd form of recreation.

Especially when the noise/shockwave probably harms other fish. Any normal speargun would work just as well. Morons.
