Really Apple? Only 5 fingerprints?

    Now I have to choose which pinky, in emergencies, will be able to unlock this beast besides of the obvious both thumbs/index's.

    What's the big deal? Not having a 6th fingerprint isn't going to somehow make the device inoperable...

    I totally agree. If Apple didn't impose this ridiculous 5 limit I would be able to register both of my nipples and all of my cats paws.

    I dunno, I would like both thumbs, both index fingers, and both of my partner's thumbs. I don't think that's unreasonable.

    The more fingerprints you have, the more risk there is of introducing delay while scanning/matching.
