Ok guys, before i go insane over my Mac,cause i love my macbook pro and all..heres the thing, i followed the instrucitons to install vista and i nuked, yep i deleted the 200mb portion from within windows XP..mac osx runs perfectly..from there i tried doing F8 reboot.nothing comes up,so i went mac website to see if i can do something off bootcamp..appearntly thats where i freaked out and found i went wrong. i couldve as it seems, done it from bootcamp.long story short, now when i try to start up bootcamp assistant the message appears as
'Back up the disk and use Disk Utility to format the disk as a Single Mac OS Extended (Journaled) volume. Restore your information to the disk and try using Boot Camp Assistant again.'
Can anyone,i beg please help me here.and explain it?i really would love any help at all...cause i mean i can use the Mac OSX bit,but now not only have i lost my Product key(i saved it in the windows bit, stupid me. :p ) but i also cant boot windows or install vista!
