References to new iPhones show up in Apple TV firmware

    Verizon or CDMA versions, or an early test model for the iphone 5

    Wait, there will be MORE iPhones? The 4 isn't the last one? Someone better call the media, this is amazing news.

    That's silly. Who wants to put the AppleTV to their ear for a phone call!? :)

    More specifically, this tells us there are more phones in development based on the same base hardware platform. ie, 2g and 3g were iirc 1,1 and 1,2 ? only difference there was the casing and 3g instead of 2g radio, same system on chip.
    new system on chip and we got 2,1 for 3gs. and against for 4, so this means theres more a4 based iphones, either 'fixed' models, or alternate carrier setups, most likely.
