Yesterday I received my Mother-in-laws' refub eMac. I was about to install the extra 128 MB RAM and was happy to find out that the Dimm already in there was a 512 stick! Nice. It was shown as 128 online. Tony Hawk 4 was a nice treat, and ran real smooth w/32MB video card. It looked nicer than my iMac because the eMac can run at different native resolutions not like the Lcd. One thing you can't do is copy it to another Mac. Installed iLife 04 and updated Panther and everything else from Apple. My iMac is now all alone and missing it's new friend. On an even sadder note I just finished an iMovie/iDVD project that comes in around 1:40 min and about 4 gig compressed. I tried 2 dvds and the play about half way though and then lock up. They burn to the end and looked finished. I thought iMovie can handle 2 hour movies now! I think it's the generic media. I'm going to pick up some Apple rippoff DVD-R disc on monday. I.
