Regarding 10.8.2 update for rmbp

Hi all,
I'm getting my rmbp soon and am wondering whether it'll be a better option to wait out 10.8.2 and use whatever comes with the machine until they release the next update. The EFI(?) and slow down problems are worrying me.
What do you think?
