On the list styles, the default spacing between sub levels is 0.5" and for the life of me I can't figure out how to change this to a different setting.

I don't even want the bullets or numbers or any of that. All I want to do is outline text into sub levels using 'command' ']' and '[' . Is there a setting to change the default indent on list style 'none' from 0.5" to say, 0.125" or is this hardcoded into the application?

I've got my tabs set to 0.125" but that's not doing the trick as the text flows off the edge of the page and wraps around to 0" on the other side which isn't what I want. I can get the job done setting marks on the ruler, but it's very difficult to keep things aligned this way, not to mention making editing similar to navigating a mine field.

Inspector > Text > list
Indent level 1,2,3 etc top box, use arrows
Indent size bottom box ~ use up and down arrows or just type the measurement you want in the box.
Hope that helps.
