Reinstalling Apple mail (10.0.5)

I have recently just upgraded to 10.5 and all of the sudden today, I am no longer able to use apple mail. I open the app and it loads, after about 10 seconds it shuts down with an "unexpected error". I'v tried simply just rebooting with no luck (2 times). I think I need to restore the app back to default settings or somehow download the app and reinstall. any idea where I can download that, or how to reformat to default settings?:confused:


Any suggestions?
