Has anyone notice that the reminder icon under the iCloud settings has 4 dots and the reminder icon under the regular settings only has 3? Also the main app icon only has 3. How did Apple overlook a simple icon issue like this? They should all match like all the other icons. I know this is a small issue, but it makes you wonder if they can't fix that what else may not be right.

I hadn’t noticed it. I would have never noticed it.

Now that I’ve noticed it, my thought is why did this guy notice it?

If you're gonna create a thread for this, and make us take our time to notice it, then can't you at least provide an image comparison for us?

    Sheesh.

The restrictions menu also has the old camera icon. Not a big deal, but shows they’re not putting a lot of attention to detail.

iOS 11 seems to be running reliably and smooth, but I agree from a cosmetic/UI perspective, quality slipped.

I may be the only one, but in Settings->Notifications, the music app has "com.apple.Music", and not Music. Am I the only one?

Did you delete the Music app? Saw someone say that when they had deleted it.

Yes I did! Good thought. Still seems poorly implemented from a UI perspective, no?

It’s a bug for sure. Specifically the bug is that a deleted app should be removed from the notifications settings but, in the case of Music at least, they’ve hardcoded an entry there. The reason it looks weird is that the list is being populated by a list of bundle identifiers which use that reverse notation, com.company.package, but since the bundle doesn’t exist the friendly name can’t be looked up.

Tl;dr sloppy bug based on Apple “forgetting” you can delete their apps.

    Not the only one!

Wow, sounds like you work for Apple! ;):p

I’ve deleted a bunch of Apple apps I don’t use but Music is the only one not showing its name correctly. Actually, Reminders is the only one capable of notifications that I’ve deleted but it still shows its name as just “Reminders”.

Interesting that other deleted apps still have their name. Oh well, ugly, but at least it doesn't break anything.

I deleted it because I never use it, and, when not deleted, it auto-plays the Apple Music app when I plug in my phone to my car radio. Once I deleted it, my phone will play the last used music app instead (Spotify, Amazon Music, Audible, etc.).

Funny thing is, Bluetooth behaves as expected--the scenario I described above only happens via USB.
