    yawn

Hollywood actors were all going to move to Canada if GWB was going to be re-elected. How many kept their promise?
Same thing over and over before an election from both sides.

Its a pretty place to visit I am sure, but to live? Half the people spouting off couldn't survive a week without their starbucks.

If I'm moving to Ireland I'll just live in County Mayo. Living on a desolate island with 58 whiskey-sodden Irishman sounds like some kind of Hell.

Say what you want about Trump, but many are using his name as free advertising like that landlord that only wants non-Trump supporters and now this forgotten village. :D

If there's broadband Internet access available on the island, I would be first on the boat/plane there. Given that it's way out in the boonies, I doubt they even have dial-up. I can't live without arguing with strangers on the Internet.:p

You beat me to it-- anybody know what the internet access like?

My biggest fear would be that now that Trump has heard of it, he will want to open a golf course there.

Someone will need to open up a Lazer Tag arena, too. You always have to have one of those.

Might be worth considering if I can get the same tax deal as Apple.

Ensure I will have a job (my current line of work tends to rely on large companies being in the area, but I can adapt), provide broadband, don't restrict my ballistic devices, and make sure I can get supplies for my hobbies, and I'll be there. Especially if it ends up with a Hillary/Trump battle, because no matter who wins, we all lose.

Well, the missus would need to sign off on it as well.

You really are onto a new trend. First, there was the guy who wouldn't rent to a Trump fan, which made it into a AP news feed. And now this hilarity. Ireland - the land of the vanishing young, bound for greener$ pastures in other countries.

So Facebook doesn't allow selecting post text, but the island folks deny politicizing their comments or mentioning Trump. Looks like the journalist sort of pushed that on his own. But they are happy to have people come and visit or even move there.

If you think about it, Trump basically has a mullet that he brushes forwards from the back.

    ...he's a crypto-redneck.
