Hi All, as per the title, I want the always on lock screen to not have the time and date - in certain focus modes. It is a focus mode after all, and so I don't want any distractions.

I've seen the hack to change their color to the same as the background, but that only operates as far as I know when the lock screen is visible, but the phone is unlocked. I want the lock screen to have nothing on it except the image. Is this possible?

Thanks, even if it is bad news!

The date is a widget. It can’t be disabled, but there are some other choices that you might find less distracting. Stuck with the time though.

Edit: guess you have another option, comment below mine. Learn something new every day.

Thanks guys, yeah that doesn’t work as I want to keep the screen on with the picture visible, but I also want to get rid of the time and date so it’s just pure picture and notifications as they come in - that link is about turning the always-on screen off, which will also get rid of the picture and notifications.

I don’t get the thinking behind having ‘focus’ modes that don’t allow you to remove distractions. Apple at its inflexible best /s
