Did you want to get rid of them from everything or just stop them from showing up in Safari. I have to admit I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen a drop down with email addresses in Safari, top right or anywhere else. Has the menu bar been customized with some sort of addressing tool? If so getting rid of the add on should get rid of your issue. A more detailed description of the problem might be helpful.

No customizing at all. When I open Safari to any web address, at the top right corner there is a box with an arrow pointing up. Clicking that will open a drop down where you can email, or do several other options. Below is where you can see the recent email address I want to delete. Note that this is only seen in my iMac Safari and NOT in any of my iOS products.

I'm pretty sure if you wait a few days the offending email address will go away on its own. It's called "Recents" so I think it's logical to assume when it is no longer that recent it will time out and remove itself or be overwritten by something even more recent. And it's not just email addresses. On my iMac I'm seeing the last iMessage chat I had. If there IS a way to make these go away I suspect it won't be through Safari. You might try looking in Mac Mail -> Window-> Recent Recipients. All These Mac apps. talk to one another and pull info from one another. It's not always easy to know what or where to troubleshoot.

Longkeg, thanks for your reply....Heck I even contacted Apple tech and not 1 of 3 could tell me how to fix it. One did have me go into Library and remove a file, that just messed things up more. I had to spend a few hrs getting back up and running. I think tech support have good intentions but lack the know how to do much more than turn on a computer. Not a slam, just my own observations .

Just curious, but why do you want to delete something that most people don’t even know is there and will eventually go away by itself?

When I ran across Email addresses in Safari I had no idea as to how they got there. Searching the internet I realized the sharing feature most likely was the answer. It’s no big deal when you know how and why, but when you don’t recognize them it’s another story. As for them sooner or later going away, I will check to see if they in fact disappear.
