Removing Software Prefs and library

Software: BitRocket Torrent
Problem: Starting up but closing right away
How it happened: Tried to open 70 torrents at the same time

Now I cannot open it and need to remove every trace of it so that I reinstall it from its fresh start. Coming from the PC world 6 months ago, I'd just clear the registry and be good, but what is the mac equivilant to get rid of every trace of a piece of software?

try deleting the plist file, in ~/Library/Preferences/

There might also be a bitrocket folder in the Application Support folder.

i just had to realize that there was the user libraries rather than a "the whole computer" library.
