    This is also his way of setting a foundation for when (if) he loses. And if there's some crazy chance he wins - it also lays down the groundwork for telling everyone he beat the system. It's a win-win statement on his behalf.

    Yes, an insider for VP. Let's not forget his endorsements (lukewarm as they may be) of establishment Senators Ayotte, Ryan and McCain. Oh, let's not forget his Wall Street and hedge fund guys on his economic team. Ooops, forgot his campaign staff, many who are establishment Republican guys. Oh wow, I almost forgot all the big money he's taking from establishment types. Have I left anything out?

    Because he can blame the Republicans for forcing him to go with Pence if he loses and say that is why he lost. And on the off chance he wins then he can let Pence run the show with Trump being the figurehead.
