This is not an end of the world problem, but it is an annoying bug. I installed the 1st public beta of iOS 17 on my personal 13 Pro yesterday. I have not yet installed the beta onto my Series 8 watch.

In the Fitness app I was exploring the new layout for the badges. Most of mine carried over and this is not comment on the new organization. What did not carry over are the Limited Edition Badges. Mine date back to 2017 and I have about 20 of them. The badges are fun and I’d like not to lose them.

Further in the new UI in the Messages app, the stickers associated with each of the earned badges are missing. I now only have the standard fitness stickers. The limited edition ones are a lot of fun and we use them often in our family chat. It is really for this reason that I am concerned.

My phone was backed up prior to install to two separate computers. The backups were encrypted and thus should contain all the health and fitness data.

I can recover, but wonder if anyone has seen this behavior and has a way forward without restoring. My watch has not been updated to the beta and it still shows the badges in its fitness app.

Restart your watch a couple of times and leave it to charge overnight. The limited edition awards can take ages to populate!
Thanks will let it charge for a while, though i usually sleep with it on.

The problem is not the watch, but the phone. It is on the phone that the badges and their stickers are not showing up.
