Resource monitor: Which one is the best?

    hey guys, i've been using iStat and it seems decent, but it's not free and the text is barely legible for me. what are the other alternatives people use?

    iStat was really good, but it just expired today. is there anything that can display it at the top part of the screen?

    ok, thanks. are there any others out there i can try? the activity monitor one, how can it be displayed in the top part of the screen?

    thanks. i might just buy iStat. does anyone know how i can change the text coloring so it has green text on a black background?

    It would help to know what your are hoping to accomplish with this tool. If you are a developer, there are tools which come with Xcode that let you monitor activity.

    i just want to be able to monitor in the top right corner when i'm working in different apps.

    ok i'm using this now. the text is really small. is there any way i can increase the size?
