Retrun/restocking fee for Iphone 8+

Does anyone know if there is any return or restocking fee from Apple if I ordered the phone online and return within 14 days? My wife think that if I open the box, I will be charge 10% open box fee. It is listed in Apple.com but not specifically for Iphone.

All products must be packed in the original, unmarked packaging including any accessories, manuals, documentation and registration that shipped with the product. A 10% open box fee will be assessed on any opened hardware or accessory.

I’m not sure why that’s still on the website. Several years ago Apple did away with the restocking fee.

There is no restock fee when you return items purchased directly from Apple for iPhones.

There is not a restocking fee in the United States, but this policy might be in place to different counties that may be subject to a restocking fee.
