Picked up an IP5 through online reservation, picked it up in Chicago. After having it about 10 days I just don't care for the battery life and our signal here bounces from 3G to LTE and back.

Question is, can I return this phone to an Apple store in St. Louis or does it have to go back to the place in Chicago? That's about 375 miles away and the one in St Louis is only 75 or so.

Just thought I'd ask if anyone had firm knowledge, as I called both places and was like 'caller 12' or so and no time to wait on hold.

As long as it's an Apple Store you can return it anywhere. You could buy one in LA and return it in New York.

I bought my 4S in London, and returned it in Tokyo. Works anywhere.
