Review of the first 4TB Portable hard drive

    When I saw that seagate announced a 4TB portable drive, I was pretty intrigued. For a couple years, 2TB was about the highest you could get in a portable drive. Well, they're finally shipping and I wrote a blog post about it today in case anyone else is interested:

    Thing looks thick enough to be two 2TB 2.5" HDDs in RAID 0.

    Personally I never had much luck with Seagate external drives. Usually dies within 1-2 years. Western Digital on the other hand, are much more reliable in my experience.
