Any one planning on heading to this store? Any idea what time would be ideal to show up?

A few Apple Stores within 20 minute distance, and Im trying to figure out what store I will be going to.

I am also debating what store to go to... I live close to this store in the Bronx, but I don't drive so it's not easy for me to get to. I'm actually debating about going to one of the AT&T stores in the city. I heard the lines there aren't as crazy as in the Apple stores.

I went to the Westchester mall for the iPhone 4 and the line was crazy, I was lucky to have been almost in the front of the line, and I still had to wait a long time before I was able to purchase cause they were taking people who had preorders as priority.

Pre-orders dont happen anymore. And AT&T stores have less of a line, but most only get a dozen phones or so. And with 6 choices; Black / White X 16;32;64 It limits your chances (for what you want) even more.

Yea the stock was what I was worried about, but my cousin was the one telling me he had went to the AT&T store before and got one with no problem.

Honestly I will probably wind up going to Apple just to play it safe even tho I am going to have to wait in a longer line. The only question now is, which store do I choose? Grand Central is the closest for me, and at least I can wait indoors incase the weather is bad.

From what I understand they kick you out of Grand Central (at least they did when the store opened for the 1st time) Weather is looking good for Friday.

Also if your looking at other Stores then the one in the topic, (in our area) they should have there own thread, if not, make one. You will get better information for the store you select. (Maybe think the new SoHo Apple Store?)

I guess I'll see what I wind up doing. I didn't make a topic cause I'm not really trying to do a meet up, I just came to this section to see where most people are going, but there isn't really any topics besides this one and the Westchester.

Is this store in a mall or a standalone store? I don't want to worry about running threw a mall when the mall opens at 5am if I've been there since 3

Its like an outdoor mall, so id call it a standalone store. I tried contacting the security team for the 'mall' but didnt get a reply.

    Up to 6 Hours: $3.25
    Up to 8 Hours: $8.00
    Up to 24 Hours: $11.00

Best parking is Archer Ave garage. Its about a block away from the Apple Store.

    Update

Since it is a 'outdoor mall' they are not allowing people on the property until 4:00am. Outside line is starting on (corner) Ridge Hill Blvd and Archer Ave. at 4am that line will move to in front of the Apple Store. IN ORDER, (no running). (order DID NOT HAPPEN, STUPID STAFF)

Did the staff tell you about being escorted to the apple store in the same line or are you guessing? I'm trying to avoid having to run to a store haha
