ok, I want to regularly use a automator workflow on files when and where I need it.

So... if I right/ctrl-click on selected files in finder, how can I run an automator script that I have already made?

automator seems good, but I think it needs a bit of work, its not clear that your workflows aren't stored and sorted by the OS, surely you should have an itunes style app that sorts them all out and stores them in a specific place, all automatically...

just a thought...

I'm not too sure if I worded this very well...
lets try again

if i ctrl click some files in finder, theres an automator option, but it only says 'create workflow'. is there some way that I can add in my previously made workflows into that menu?

that makes much more sense!

Save the workflows as Finder Plug-ins.
