And the media will label them as thugs, gangsters, looters, and criminals.

OH WAIT ..... Nevermind that, it's a mostly white crowd. FOX News will make civilized comments. :p

We need some white leaders to come out and apologize and speak out on behalf of them or else it shows white people condone this behavior!!

Have you ever heard of a little place called Morgantown, WV, where West Virginia University resides? They beat Baylor, the #4 ranked team. It wasn't a playoff game or a World Series game, but a regular season game. This is not an isolated occurrence and this is why it's a felony to burn a couch in Morgantown, WV.

Ban sports. That'll give these fools something to riot about. What a bunch of brain donor lemmings.

You call that a riot? That's not a riot! Everyone's all smiling, and hugging, and crap! I mean, yeah, someone started a fire in the middle of the street, but I bet it's because they all wanted to make s'mores, and tell ghost stories.

I am so mad right now.

Nope it's was a riot. Property was destroyed and burned. Police were assaulted with bottles. Two people were shot and two stabbed.

Boy, those bay-area rowdies makes the Seattlites celebrating the SB last February look like pikers.

Seattleites are naturally timid and effete. Also, a championship is such a rare event they were perplexed and unsure how to behave.

I wonder how many beer commercials there were during the World Series. Anybody count?

Now, let me see, alcohol = rowdy behavior.

Every city has to deal with this after a major team sports championship. And yet, cities fight to get and keep major sports teams. Go figure.

You only say that because you are not a Yankees fan. Obviously, a close series with a dramatic final game is a waste of time unless the Yankees are playing. ;)

Where did you say you live?

I know this might sound crazy, given the proximity to Ferguson, but I do not recall STL rioting when the Cardinals won the World Series in 2006 and 2011.

CA has plenty of morons who think the way to celebrate a team win is by rioting/looting ETC, we had the lakers riots here again, because the team won , 12 GA lobotomies are in order.

The complete opposite is New York. We are numb to being winners. I don't know how people live with their D-list MLB team...especially Boston :D

Ah, California fans... Can't handle their liquor with losses or wins.

Edit: They need a Giant vaporizer(tm) at every major event. This would never happen again.

Most people are passionate about sports, but it's not something I'm interested in. I will go to a local bar during playoff games, but it's the crowd that entertains me. Grown men driven to tears.

Better than grown men who feel the need to be emotionally stoic all the time.
