It used to be that while watching an online video, such as from YouTube, I could go to the Activities window and double click on the file be downloaded, and Safari would save it as a .flv file. Now when I try it, all that happen is that a second copy of the video opens in a new window.

Did Apple change the behavior somewhere along the line, either the OS or Safari? I don't remember how long ago I last successfully grabbed a video, whether it was under 10.4 or 10.6, and which version of Safari. Maybe YouTube changed, but I can't imaging what kind of change they could have made, since the (streaming) video has to download to be watched, and I would think that the program could do whatever it wanted to do with the download while it was happening on the computer.

Hold Option while double-clicking to force a download.
