Hey everyone-

New to the forum here, not new to Macs :).

So here is my issue...my PowerBook crashed a few months ago for whatever reason...lost everything, but luckily, all my music was "backed" up on my iPod.

Well I just received a new MacBook Pro and am trying to transfer everything back to my computer off of my iPod. After trying both Senuti and iPod rip, all the music has appeared to make it onto my computer, but the files are all jacked. Some of them are skipping, some songs are 20 minutes long (WTF), etc

I've successfuly used iPodRip before with another computer and another iPod, so I have no idea whats going on. I read somewhere that it may be the USB chord, but I've tried 2 (maybe they're both jacked? I don't see how, though).

I wonder if it's my iPod? Sometimes that freezes too and does strange things.

Any ideas what could be causing the skipping and manipulation of the files...I'm on the verge of losing 4,500+ songs....all paid for music! Guess its my own fault I didn't back it up though.

Thanks in advance for your help!
