Anyone wanting to go back to 10.3.3 I am afraid it’s too late. I just noticed this morning that it is no longer being signed by Apple.

Yep, too late now. I feel sorry for the ios 11 people. I know this happens every year but 11 seems much worse than any previous new release.

Rolling back to a version of iOS with known security holes and weaknesses would be stupid anyway.

Which known security holes does 10.3.3 have ??? I guess those with devices not supported by 11 are screwed.

Actually I think the current buggy iOS 11 has more security holes than the 10.3.3.
Once iOS 11 becomes more mature, I would consider it more secure. But for now I doubt it.

I see that too. Probably a mistake.

It is not a mistake. iPhones 6s with aftermarket replacement screens (thousands in the world), are not compatible with iOS11. Updating to iOS11 in those phones causes the screen to become unresponsive to touch, and renders the phone unusable. Apple was forced to open this option for them until the problem is solved (has to do with the non-original IC, which in 6S resides on the screen and not in the motherboard like in other models).

Someone should start a petition on one of those sites to see how much interest there is from users wishing to go back from 11.

But that’s not the case with the 6s Plus? Because 10.3.3 isn’t being signed for that device.

It's being reported that 10.3.3 is being signed again. If you want to do it, do not delay.

I’m thinking to rollback as well, but too lazy to do that. Apple should improve their os urgently instead of making their user to go back and fwd. such a mess

11.0.2 is pretty darn smooth on my 7+. Very few bugs or hangs ups. Just roll with it

I totally agree. iOS 11.0.2 is running great on my lowly iPhone 6 and on a iPhone 7. It will certainly get better as updates happen.

Not for my 7, battery drain, sluggish animation and scrolling sometimes, emoji keyboard blocking the typing space on facebook, emoji keyboard blocking some of the message line, unconsistency “new wifi/bluetooth control center”, sluggishness on scrolling my apple music library (ipad air), some unknown separation line on apple music menu (ipad air), etc. but not concerned me enough to roll back yet, or maybe I’m a lazy person LoL

I cannot imagine what’s for the 5s users

It's only being signed for the iPhone 6s due to an issue with iOS 11, iPhone 6s models and after market touchscreens being non-responsive.

Well, we'll see about that (downloading it now). Tried to downgrade from 11.0.2 to 11.0.1 (as .2 broke my lightning connection to my car), but the restore process forces you to upgrade to 11.0.2 again.

And apple support (per a senior advisor) isn't to have anyone downgrade anymore. We're to wait patiently for things to be fixed.

Tried going to the 11.1 beta - it has the problem as well.

We'll see if Apple let's me downgrade now. (11.0 wasn't allowed earlier today).

And, yes, before you ask....I have a 6s still.

Edit: Confirmed...it's letting me downgrade to 10.3.3. (hopefully it'll let me upgrade to 11.0 or 11.0.1 after) - my watch is running 4.0, so I need to get back to 11.x, but lower than 11.0.2.

Edit2: Was able to use the 11.0.1 ipsw and it didn't force me to upgrade to 11.0.2, but I setup as a new iPhone (just in case). Trying to do a restore of my data from an iTunes backup now (hopefully that doesn't update the OS version....just the data.

Edit3: Yep, all good now. Did a restore, still on 11.0.1. Why wouldn't an Apple Senior Advisor have thought of that?
Still, I have a call scheduled (an escalation) for their management for Tuesday. Going to tear them a new one for not giving us a rollback capability. This is *****!!!

You don't have to press restore, hold shift/option key and press update.
