Romney and Paul lying about Romney's tax plan. I'm shocked.
More lies from Romney. Who is really surprised by that?
I missed this. When did we start calling op-ed pieces "studies"? I wonder how many new "studies" Paul Krugman has to his name now in addition to his academic papers? He must have done 10,000 studies by now contradicting everything Romney and Ryan have said. And, there sure are a lot of "studies" posted in PRSI every day. Laughable, sort of. ("Doc, it hurts when I laugh.")
"...he assumes that the wealthy will not seek to take advantage of as many tax loopholes if their overall tax rate is lower." <-- This is even more sad. What an ignorant assumption!
The only thing he said that wasn't a lie was that he wasn't going to let his campaign be dictated by the fact-checkers. Well, at least he was telling the truth about that.
Well it is the gop. Either Romney is ignorant or a lair take your pick.
It also leads the question why do people vote for the gop and will vote for Romney as his statement does not pass the smell test.
That does go to show you how low the gop is having to go. When the truth is completely worthless for them
To be fair, the assumption wasn't made by Romney himself, but the person he cited. But I guess by citing him, Romney agrees with him.
And Romney says Obama is the liar. What a scumbag.
I hope people start pressing him for details. Once those are out, then everyone will see the emporer has no clothes on (well those that don't have their head buried in the ground at least)
Ugh sadly people like my parents think Romney is a good presidential candidate.
When you say "Paul", is that a sort of Freudian typo thing?
I have a number of very well off acquaintances who say they will vote for Romney. They don't like Obama because he wants to take away their tax cuts. I find it sad that people take such a shallow viewpoint.
Your parents sound like decent people.
Yeah, because tax plans that don't add up are good.
In other news Greece is the best governed country on earth.
