Hi, I'm using mac OSX snow leopard and I got a USB HUB with four 4gb pen drives. I was wondering if it is possible to make all the pen drives come up as one ie 16gb instead of four four gigabytes?

p.s if so would it also work on my windows xp bootcamp partition?:apple:

you would want to set them up as a RAID

for mac check out this link
you want the striped version or RAID 0

haven't really looked into the window side.

be aware that if you have them set up to be one big 16GB disk, if you loose one drive, you loose all the data on all 4.
You also might get a bit of a speed bump from running this way, but will probably be limited by the USB speed.

yeah you just have to set them up as a raid set and then your good to go... should work with XP as well as long as its formatted correctly
