Hmm...I seem to remember when Republicans were livid at the government going after people for political affiliations. I seem to recall them pushing for the IRS chief to be impeached for targeting conservative groups. But now that Trump is doing the same thing it's A-OK and brilliant politics.

Trump's Boeing tweet happened 20 minutes after a story came out that Boeing was concerned about his trade policies. So basically someone questions a Trump policy or says something not nice about him and he runs to Twitter to pop off and get his kool-aid drinking sycophants all riled up. And we're stuck with this for 4 years. Sigh.

That may be so, but one can't deny he has raised some legitimate points about whether the amount of money spent on those planes were worth it or not.

It may just be they he has found a way to kill multiple birds with one stone. Are people going to keep treating him like an idiot, or start acknowledging that he might be more savvy than he is getting credit for?

That's not the point. It's hypocritical to basically be aping the Left which is what Limbaugh is doing. Now that his side is in power he's perfectly fine with them doing everything he criticized Obama and the Left for doing. And no one even knows what the $4B figure refers to. Boeing disputed it and of course Trump never provides actual facts to back up his stupid tweets. His team has still not provided hard evidence that millions of people fraudulently voted in this past election.

The Air Force confirmed yesterday that they expect the planes to be at least $4 billion by the time they are delivered.

They're still in R&D and the program has burned through $2.7billion.

Politifact is not well loved in these parts.

Limbaugh is an idiot and made a great living out of being one

This is known as payback. Democrats and Liberals think they can coarsen politics without it blowing back against them because Republicans have always let them get away with it. No more, baby!

That's what having the bully pulpit should be. What's best is that Trump is freezing out the media by his use of Twitter. All you need now is Fox News and Twitter to find out the latest skinny.

I don't think it's hypocritical yet. Trump is just one man and can't unleash the power of the government on anybody at this time. Obama did loose the IRS on specific people. I'm sure in time that Trump will abuse his power.

If the project is indeed overpriced or suboptimal it is the fault of Congress, not Boeing's.

No, he's an otherwise talentless opportunist and who used to make a great living exploiting people dumber than he is.

In recent years, he's been turfed from major stations in most markets, and has to broadcast from low-power outfits that you could jam with a microwave oven. Pathetic.

It's the other side mentality. If they proposed it even if it's good or something you believe in or it makes sense, oppose it at all costs. That's politics.

Who cares what Rush says? He's a fool and a blow hard. People say stupid crap all the time. Remember when Obama said "it's easier to buy a gun than a book"? When you speak as often as these people do something stupid is bound to come out.

They aim to be the opposite of the liberal media, in all things. And if you believe that the liberal media is destroying this country, it follows that Rush Limbaugh and the Blaze are creditable. If.

The Blaze is Glenn Beck's network, right? Wasn't he supporting Hillary?

Fair point, but it is Mr. Trump who is shining the light on this. This would not be an issue if he didn't raise it in a very public way.

so if trump is so worried about saving money maybe they should buy a used greyhound bus. just think of all the money it will cost to keep his wife and kid in new York it will cost the tax payers a fortune. and since the secret service has to move into the building for the whole time trump will benefit form the added security and selling his apartments.

My take is that Boeing is only going to deliver a green 747-8 built to Mil-Spec, then the DoD/USAF will be the ones to configure it as AF One...

Most of the cost will be all the stuff inside - wouldn't be surprising if it cost more than the plane itself.

Boeing is going to only see a fraction of the total amount since it is only supplying the empty plane...

You've been preconditioned by entrenched elites to bias your judgement towards balance. When will this bigotry stop?
