Let's do this!
As my nephew would used to sing:
I might swing by after I pick up my A1687 T-Mo 6s from the UPS CC.
Say, I remember you from the 6 pre-order last year! Had to look at my old forum posts.
First time I'm doing this. My reservation is at 1pm, so it will be interesting to see the lines there. Are any of you doing the AUP? If so, and you're there early, could you post what they do for the credit check?
Nope, I'm a pre-order from apple.com/Hold at UPS CC kind of guy these days.
Me too but I wanted to give the youngsters a place to play
Oh, don't get me wrong! I'd love to swing by after pickup (and restoring from back up at home) and hanging out with other new owners. Though I, myself, won't do the line thing again.
Totally gonna stop by and get a new case... Love the atmosphere but have old bones!
My new 6s case was delivered Monday.
How bad was the parking there, last year? I generally tend to park in the parking garage next to Nordstrom and go in the mall through Nordstrom instead of the front. Last thing needed after a long wait is a hot car not in the shade..
That's exactly where I usually park, typically in middle floor since everyone seems to want to park on the ground floor.
In other news, my pre-ordered phone is at Mather!
Mine is at Mather too! Gonna pick it up at UPS in the am! What time do they open?!
Should be at 7am for the open. However, you'll be fighting rush hour traffic to get out here. I'm in Rancho Cordova, and the commute will be somewhat of a bear, unless you get off on Bradshaw, then cut over to Old Placerville Rd.
I just checked the hours for the west sac hub. 10am open...
its 12:02 am. how many people are in line at arden fair mall?
anybody know what times the AT&T stores open?
I hate to break it to you man, but the Rancho CC is only open from 3:30pm to 6pm.

Yup! I plan on being there around 9:45 or so. Pretty close to my house too.
Heh. Line was about 5-10 people at the UPS CC in WSac. I was the second in line at open (gray t-shirt with an orange star), but the woman in front of me wasn't picking up an iPhone.
Sorry to hijack the Arden ARS meetup thread with the UPS CC experience. I'll head on over to Arden after I restore.
I'm just glad people are posting! I got there late. About 10:30 and was in a line of 5 people. Backing up now and then off to Apple Store to get a new case!
Possibly going to this store for my iPhone 7 Plus. Anyone have advice regarding where the line is or the time people usually start appearing?
Yes. Security won't let you stay in the parking lot overnight, if you're planning on camping out there. However, they should let you in roughly around 6am, if I remember right. So by then, you should be good to go then. If that won't work, you can take the chance at the Galleria in Roseville.
Quick recap of my 6s generation: I got the 6s Plus as mentioned above that I ordered from apple.com and picked it up at the UPS CC in West Sac. After about a week, the larger size was kind of bugging me, so I ended up exchanging at ARS Arden for a standard 6s. Two weeks after doing that, the sim-free version was released—while I'm on T-mo, my fiancee is on Verizon and usually gets my models when I upgrade—so I ended up exchanging the T-Mo model for the SIM-free/CDMA capable model at the ARS Galleria location. At that point into the 6s release, the line at both stores were fairly short and stock was plentiful.
I told myself that for this year, I might as well just wait for the sim-free and get that one outright. Problem is now the Plus size is calling me again.
