Hi guys, still kind of new to the forums so I wasn't quite sure where to post this, mods feel free to reallocate.

With Safari 4 Apple made a nice welcome page with some neat animations -

But for those of us on slow connections, using this as a home page takes a few seconds to load, and can be annoying. So, I downloaded the assets through the html file, stored them locally, and re-wrote part of the code to load the local assets. Now I can use it as a nice home page that loads pretty quickly!

Attached are the files needed, simply copy the unzipped Safari folder to /
then set your home page to file:///Safari/welcome.html
Also attached is a video of the final effect.

Not very useful, and a bit annoying after a while. Will probably revert back to old google :D
Maybe just the final safari logo animation without the music would be nice. Any other idea's? I thought of editing Safari's logo with an opening animation like in the end of the video, but not too sure how to go about it (have only previously created Adium logo's).

Anyway, feel free to use the code, people. Cheers.
