Hi ;)

Strangely enough, my bookmarks in Safari are no longer in the same order as before...

What could have happened?

How can I put them back in their original order?

By the way, can I sort them?

Thanks

Thank you Gwang ;)
I read it but :
"I found a fix that worked for me. On MacBook, go to Safari and open Bookmarks. Right click Favorites and sort by Name. Then Command Z to undo back to the original order. This will re-sync the order across devices."
When I do that (clik on Favorites) I do not see "sort" but "display inside of the folder" and "open new tab" and "open new folder"…

Can you help ?

I guess it may depend on how you have your bookmarks organized. This is how mine look when you click Menubar-->BookMarks-->Edit Bookmarks

What also worked for me is to export your bookmarks to an html file, delete all your bookmarks on the Mac. All your devices should also delete the bookmarks. Then import the bookmarks.html file back on your Mac and it should sync to all your devices and sync properly from now on.

I got the explanation from Apple.

This process works on Monterey but not on High Sierra.
Too bad :(
Thanks anyway. ;)
