Does an extension exist? I know it's such a pain pressing cmd & P... a little button on the toolbar would be a great xmas present:)

Safari > View > Customize toolbar, then drag the print icon to your toolbar. Merry Christmas!

I commend you but quicker to press cmd p with my right hand.

When you have the print screen up, there is a second process of clicking save as PDF. Is there a button that will take you directly there ?

I agree Command-P is simpler and faster, but you asked for a toolbar icon.

Unfortunately no, not even with a custom keyboard shortcut.

Save as PDF with this easy keyboard shortcut.

Create a Keyboard Shortcut for saving/printing to pdf…

[ System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts > App Shortcuts > + ]

Menu Title: Save as PDF…
works only when print window is up, provides all options & security

and/or

Menu Title: Export as PDF…
no options & security are offered
