Hopefully that sick **** will be thrown in jail and never see the light of day again.

    ----------

Guilty on 45 of 48 counts, remanded directly to jail. Sounds like he just took his last breath of free air.

Not that I would necessarily encourage anything, but I wouldn't be surprised if he gets "taken care of" by his new neighbors.

This is when the system works. There was no way he was going free.

Remember OJ and Cassie Anthony? You never know.....but the sex abuse of children is taken more seriously the murder of one. Everyone in this thread is right when they say he will be taken care of. The only question is how soon? I say a month? Shall we start a poll?

It'll be quick, unless they put him in a prison for people who have lots of money. Maybe he'll be in the same one as Blago.

Putting him in general population is a death sentence, I'm sure is already known, for that reason, wouldn't be surprised if he gets his own place...

Then again, I'm sure some upstanding inmate will try for his own fame...

Even though he was convicted, there are no winners here. Just a very very sad situation and hopefully the victims can find some relief

The victims will find relief- relief that people finally believed them. These are people who previously felt they had no hope for justice. This guy was powerful, and he used that power as assurance he would get away with his crimes. I've always felt that many pedophiles attack boys because boys feel more shame and don't want to appear weak and therefore are less likely to come forward. It's horrible.

Ah, yes. I remember that thing surfacing here some time ago.

I've heard that these kinds of people don't do well in prison. I'm guessing he'll be put in some kind of solitary confinement.

These people make me sick, just like when the Catholic Church did the same cover-up. Sandusky made them money, so they looked the other way, while kids were being abused. It's ****ing horrible.

Then, the Catholics tried to blame gay people. I'm sick of being compared to these disgusting child abusers.

He and everyone involved in the conspiracy (you're damn right it's a conspiracy) should get locked up.

    Pisses me off it does.

Hopefully, the eventual toppling of a "well-respected powerful monster" will help witnesses in the future speak up an take action on behalf of the victims. The tragedy in this case is, despite evidence, many did not come forward sooner.

Now that Sandusky is going to pay for his crimes, it's time for Penn State and those who covered it up to pay.

I wonder how a 'man of the cloth' would do in prison?

Perhaps we will now be able to find out?

Guys, thanks for sharing your prison rape fantasies here but sex offenders are kept apart of the general population.

Paterno's dead, so he gets off the hook. His, 'I'm an old man, I don't know what male rape is', excuse pissed me off. And students out supporting him? Sick.

But all the others need to spend a year for every day they didn't say nothing locked up.
