No. You only can save to the native pages format. You can export the document to a Word format, but the main saving format is .pages and nothing else.

ltldrummerboy macrumors 68000 Oct 15, 2007 1,534 9 Dec 5, 2008 #6 Unless the person you're sending it to needs to edit the document, I would recommend exporting as a PDF instead of a .doc. Using .doc messes up the formatting if you have a lot of it, where as a PDF will look exactly like your .pages file.
