Holy $#!+. Trump is sounding completely unhinged.

    From his press conference today:

Frightening how demented and/or dishonest this man is.

Even his rhetoric sounds Russian. He tells you the exact opposite of the truth. Remember when a Soviet-era leader would be on his deathbed? Pravda would tell you that he was in fine health and playing tennis. Seriously.

And this thing about the press, "We have to...find out what's going on." That sounds ominous.

The sky isn't falling folks. I don't see him as unhinged at all.

Exactly the word that Jake Tapper just used to describe this press conference: unhinged. :D

I use a different word: repetitive. Trump is the only person I have ever seen that uses the word "and" to join two sentences that say the same thing. Like his "I say it and I say it" response some weeks back to something. He did something similar today. It's rather bizarre. So was his constant references to Hillary. My God...the election is over. Move on.

But at least I don't think he referred to himself in the third person today. Progress that I'm sure he'll reverse later. :D

I don't think he's unhinged, and the sky isn't falling, but the man is clearly living inside of his own head.

That tirade he just went on was definitely...concerning.

    I don't know, I don't know.

Look at all the familiar themes he touched on today.
    • He tries to convince people that real news is fake.
    • He repeats things like a child.
    • He projects his own qualities (e.g., liar) onto other people.
    • He free-associates things which are not related, such as Russia and Hillary Clinton's debate questions.
    • He brags about being able to handle criticism, which is clearly untrue.
    • He claims a unanimous court is in turmoil.
    • He lies about chaos in his administration.
    • He makes vague statements about investigating the press.
I mean, that's a whole lotta crazy in one press conference.

Can you imagine what this guy is going to be like when something goes seriously wrong. When this country suffers a real crisis? A natural disaster. A big stock market sell-off. A military or political confrontation?

Right now the official unemployment rate is about 4%. The economy added over 270,000 jobs in January. GDP was up strongly in January.

Sure, Trump inherited a "mess." But it's one entirely of his own making.

I am not sure if you're more Russia-obsessed or Trump-obsessed.

Tell that to Hillary, trying to stay relevant by Tweeting snide remarks about the current President from the sidelines.

Regarding the press conference, I don't see anything here that is different from his previous behavior.

Also, regarding modern-day media -- Trump is right. Modern-day news is a disease. I've thought that even before Trump said it. Objective journalism is dead. :(

Trump says his administration "is running like a fine-tuned machine"
I wouldn't say that Trump's rhetoric sounds Russian. That's rather ridiculous, objectively. But perhaps it sounds a little bit like Tim Cook. :D

    "fine-tuned machine"
    "firing on all cylinders"
    "Great products in the pipeline"

    :p

Oh I'll never pity him. Maybe be a bit embarassed for him. About as far as it goes.

Hey, it's all she's got. He on the other hand, has a country to run. Much more important things to be doing then complaining about a former political opponent in a race that he won. That makes little sense at this point.

Show me where I've ever noted that. He is unique for sure.

I don't think the press realizes what he's been through over the years. Clearly he's not afraid of them and doesn't even flinch even if they catch him on a flub like on statistics nor what not. Like Clinton, they are bringing their best game and he's not only standing up live but punching back. I don't think they are used to it.

Maybe he believes he's still on a reality TV show:

So You Think You Can Be a President

We should probably be holding the leader of the free world to a higher standard than an unemployed career politician.

That's right. You gotta remember, prior to running for president, Trump was vilified in the NY press for years. He knows how to deal with them, and will punch back and not let any charge go unanswered. He's learned that he's got to be on offense, and he plays the media like a fiddle.

Remember after the Florida primaries when he was selling Trump Water, Trump Steaks, Trump Wine, etc. That was all a ruse and an experiment to see what the media would do. Sure enough, they covered him extensively. And what's more, on that same night, not a single media outlet covered Hillary's speech after she won. Trump has been on TV for years and knows that ratings are everything. Even the media outlets acknowledge they cover Trump for the ratings.
