When buying MobileMe form the online store it is £1.00 GBP cheaper then automatically renewing. See screenshots attached. Automatic renewing costs £59.00 while a new subscription costs only £58.00.

Wonder who is to blame for this, or if this is intentional to reward loyalty? On the other hand it could be to cover the costs of the expensive online processing compared to the cheap shipping costs of the actual box, or did I get this mixed up somehow?

Buying Aperture is even better. If you buy the boxed s/w it costs £126; buy it pre-loaded on a new Mac and it costs £126.01

Hit Amazon up, you can get MobileMe by ~25% discount. I don't know how they make money off of these. Someone care to explain or is it a trade secret?
