I have an iPad Pro 12.9 gen 1 on iOS 11.0.2 and the screen keeps re-adjusting the brightness all on it's own.
Sometimes it goes down so far I can hardly see the screen at all!
I have to bring up control center and turn it back up.
Anyone else having this problem?
It doesn't seen to happen on my iPhone 7 Plus on the same iOS version though.

This has been happening on my iPhone 7 plus since one of the last betas. It's really obnoxious, and I haven't found a pattern to when the phone decides to adjust the brightness. I have a feeling I need to wipe everything and clean install to fix the issue as my iPad and wife's 7 plus don't do this.

Dont have this issue, but you could turn off auto-brightness in Accessibility.

On my phone the auto-brightness is already turned off, and the issue continues to happen. I have tried toggling the auto-brightness multiple times with no effect unfortunately.

Seems to be an issue with your particular device. If auto brightness if off, there is zero adjusting automatically. In 10 years of iOS devices, it has never done that when auto brightness if off. You may need to reset settings, or restore your device. Or it could be hardware related.

[doublepost=1519923661][/doublepost]Yep mine just started doing that too. Ugh. Before anyone starts telling me to turn off auto adjust, it is off.

I think I found the culprit. Although automatic screen brightness was turned off under the display and brightness tab in settings...when I went in the general tab and then into accessibility, and then into DISPLAY ACCOMODATIONS...there was another AUTO BRIGHTNESS in there that was somehow magically turned on.

I would love to see a screenshot of your Display & Brightness screen :) You either have a pre-iOS 11 version that has the auto-brightness under Display & Brightness OR you have iOS 11 with the option hidden under Accessibility. You can't have both ;)
