Hey folks,

with iOS16 screen time requests from kids appear in messages. By some advanced magic, messages decides to put them into our family chat group which becomes very cluttered by all the requests and, espesially on macOS Ventura, painfully slow to scroll through.

Is there a way to disable that and make appear in the settings again? Or at least to autoremove them from the messages thread?

Cheers!

this started happening like from today for me. also I cannot approve any purchases by my kids anymore. They appear in messages, but disappear quickly.

With macOS 13.2 it seems to be even worse now... I am receiving the requests in the message app, but cannot not grant them on my Mac anymore 😔

Anyone else experiencing this?

I have 2 kids. Their requests now come through in an iMessage "chat" between that kid, me and my wife (who is the other "adult" in the Apple family).

I find it works much better than the old system as now I can see when she has approved a request and for how long. I still have lots of gripes about how it works, but it has gotten better.

I can't see exactly that anymore 😔
