I have one in my MacBook and really like it's speed. I think it's worth it, but there are test results floating around that suggest the new Western Digital Scorpio Blue (5400rpm) 640GB and 750GB drives are equally fast. Do a search and find out for yourself.

I got one when they were new on the market. the storage is great, and it is very noticeably faster than the stock drive.
