I just gave my girlfriend my 4S and listed my iPhone 4 on eBay, so this showed up on my home page.

Was anyone else floored by the shipping cost? That's what really surprised me. The person who buys it better not open it...

$50 should almost cover UPS Next Day Air Domestic

ADDITIONAL: That shipment better be insured...

Truer words haven't been spoken.... However, it begs the question for the phone price, what type of box? Insurance? Do I get unicorn hair? Magic dust?

I don't think holograms can hold things.

People list some truly idiotic things at times. We're a few years past the original iphone, not a few decades.

It'll be worth $10,000 one day.

    Not today, though.

That's insane. But I guess for the seller, they're thinking if it sells then hooray for them. If not, oh well.

I hate when eBay postings have all these little acronyms that make it hard to search for stuff. Like 1G 2G in this case . Like do they mean data speeds or generation of iPhone or speed of processor etc

It may be worth 10k if it were the first iphone ever to leave the production line for consumers

eBay lifted their listing fees. Your first 150 listing per month are now completely free. Incentive for idiots to clutter eBay with incredibly overpriced nonsense, if you ask me.

True, but you dont pay fees if it dont sell anyways. Do you still have to pay fees if it sells under that promotion/incentive plan?
