Searching for Bitplayer alternative

Well or anything else that has a nice speed/pitch Control function like bit-player has.
Since i uped to leopard Bitplayer is not working well anymore. it quits after every movie it plays.
Now i do know that Qt has a function like this to, but i find that it messes up the sound to much so i cant understand anything anymore. + it has no play-list

Well i hope that this is kinda clear what i am trying to say.
