It seems like people are anxious to dump their old m2 devices … albeit at non-competitive pricing and the selling price is still kinda on the high side. Imo a Mac mini m2 base should be worth $250 but people are selling it at $450 regardless lol 🤣🤣🤣.

What I can say is I wish them luck and the device will only be worth less next year .

US$250 is too low but yeah $450 is too high. Somewhere in between would be appropriate though.

I’ll put my M1 with 1 TB SSD and 16 GB RAM up for sale in the next week or two. I’ll have to research the pricing some more but I think it’s worth significantly more than an M2 with 256 GB SSD and 8 GB RAM.

From my experience, a market price minus 10% should net you a quick sales.

Thankfully I sold off my Mac book air m2 early this year. It was a base model. How funny it is when a base model is going for sale at 20% lower than retail price LOL. If I hadn’t sold off my maxbook air m2, I would’ve gotten 40% less than what I’ve sold for if I kept till now To sell it !

Yeah, I knew I would get more if I sold my M1 a few months ago, and knew the M4 was coming, but I didn't know exactly when it would arrive or if I'd actually buy it or not since truthfully my M1 served my needs just fine. And anyhow I didn't want to be without my Mac mini for a few months.

I figure I may list for market price minus a bit and see how it goes. The problem is determining market price up here in Canada, since the volume of sales is lower and it seems the vast majority of the ones for sale are the 8 GB models with less storage.
