Sorry for the small pic, but I'm sure there will be bigger ones later today after the conference.

Also, it has been reported that it is 2 or 3 times more powerful than GameCube.

On-line gaming is free and they will be offering Nintendo games (old and new) to download on Revolution.

Nice, but we don't really know this is it, IGN could have got it wrong. I'm still waiting for E3 or beyond (if they don't show it) to see what it will really be like....

that is beautiful! so sleek looking! matches my CD player PERFECTLY :) my guess now is the next DS update will have it looking like that.

"the size of 3 DVD cases stacked" for a next gen console? wow  guess whose going to become my next traveling buddy.

if it does look like that then Nintendo have their best console design ever, and it's way ahead of the xbox 360, which just seems to be a rip-off of a bunch of popular design cues smushed together. this is much more coherent and sleek

I am soo getting this when it is released... I heard that it comes out of the box able to hook up to your cpu monitor , Did anyone else hear this too?

But any ways it looks like a logical design. The slim fit will make it a nice CPU buddy for online play...

Any specs released on system?

Not as cool looking as the ps3 or 360, but its not really bout looks though. All about games. Just make the system cheap and release a zelda on it. I'll buy it. :)

My thought too.... I don't suppose they'd waste having another seperate optical drive just for this purpose. Maybe they'll release some sort of full-size-DVD sleeve to put the GC games in.

What's with the sudden urge to make everything vertical? I think Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft need to find new industrial designers. All three designs look very lackluster.

Maybe the PS3 and Revolution will change slightly by the time they go on sale.

I skipped the last generation of consoles and I'm interested in getting back in this generation. My last system was N64. I hope Nintendo pulls off some impressive specs with this system because I'd be happy to own one. Never get tired of Mario. :p Any sample games pics from the revolution?

Of course, the Xbox and PS3 both look very exciting. Gosh, games have gotten so realistic these days, what ever happened to the good ol' days of pitfall and space invaders?

From what I have heard most slot loading drives take GC disks just fine

(got sent by a friend)

looks even better on a big picture
the stand is very funny idea.. kinda looks like they are proposing taking the console with you even more

tasty size

one backpack = 1 console + mac mini
baby you've got a winner

(about the slot loading: the other thing besides the slot which is shorter might be such a drive... well perhaps ;) )
