I am looking to improve various habits with the coming of 2015; exercise, good eating and the like…

I’ve been reading up on the Seinfeld method in which on keeps a track of each day in which a goal is met, and the psychological reinforcement of not wishing to break that streak will help that habit to development.

My main requirements are being optimised for iPhone 6, a flat iOS7-like design and ideally a notification centre widget. I’d rather not pay over about £5 for said app (and I’d like it to be free if possible)

I've faced the exact same question and went for Habit List. After less than two weeks I am not able to recommend it in good faith, but I considered Lift (I think they are re-branding to now), but wasn't too keen on the social aspects. Also I looked at Strides. However, they plan to move to a monthly plan (they do offer existing customers a free-for-life-plan, but I am not convinced that it will be right for me.
