select next tab in safari with shortcut?

hi, the menu says command and { and command and } are the shortcut keys to select through open tabs, in safari....but these keys do not work for me.

ive tried keys all around them, and lots of other random keys.....

any idea?

You are forgetting the shift key required to get "{" and "}", otherwise, you are just hitting "[" and "]". You can also use Command+Shift+Right and Command+Shift+Left.

thats alot of keys....three buttons to press........

opera is just one button....number 1, or number 2, to go backwards and forwards.
