I have just been into CEX near me and they gave me £100 for my old AirPods. I was well chuffed with that since their 2.5 years old,the battery isn't great anymore and this is a loss of only £59. Thery were grade A as they had no marks on them etc. Hope this helps others.

Yeah saw this the other day. Even £78 for grade C is pretty reasonable if your battery has degraded. Not sure I'd fall into grade A, as I have a few marks inside the case that just won't go away :(

I didnt think there was any value for my old AirPods until this thread - thank you.

I got £84 because there were a few light scratches on the case ... but it was in brand new box with un-used charging cable. £84 after 2 years+ daily usage and battery at approx 50% thats a decent return - 52% money back.

So my upgrade to Gen 2 technically cost £115 - decent deal imo for another 2+ years life and latest chip and wireless charging.

If you took up the battery replacement Apple offer itll cost you £45 per AirPod and thats Gen 1 replacements and you still have an old battery case = £90.
