Selling old one (What to do?)

Hi

I'm selling my old one to somebody. My new one is activated and the old one doesn't work as phone any longer.

Do i need to leave the sim-card in as is or take it out?

Can the new person transfer it's number/ network to my old phone?

Any suggestions welcome
